DarkMode - 2 different computers
I have a "Late 2012" Mac mini and a new 16" MacBook Pro. Both are macOS 10.15.2 - Catalina. Both are set to DarkMode. Both have qbittorrent v 4.21. qB on the MBP is dark. qB on the mini is light. qB preferences are all the same. I can't find what's going on. BTW, the dark qB looks and...

Re: v4.2 issues
Vuze is an extreme choice when one is otherwise happy with qBittorrent. It's a behemoth and not accepted by so many trackers.
Why not use v4.1.9?

v4.2 issues
I put v4.2 on each of my computers. 2012 Mac mini - Mojave 2016 16" MacBook Pro - Catalina Latest versions of each OS. Upgraded to v4.2 simply by replacing the apps themselves, not touching any associated files. Starting the apps is fine but new torrents do not connect. They just sit there. Del...

Re: Real Noob to torrenting - Help!
When you say "uploading has been slow and spotty" are you referring to your own uploads (stuff you have and want to share, stuff that you didn't download with qB)? Or are you talking about the upload speed/amount of the stuff you have downloaded with qB?

Re: Cannot auto use qbittorrent for .torrent files
In Finder, pick any .torrent file. Right-Click it (or hit control-click). Choose 'Get Info'. Find the 'Open with' option and choose qBittorrent. Next find the 'Change All' option and click it. wait until done. Time will depend on how many .torrent files you have.

Re: How to migrate from uTorrent to qBittorent on iMac?
Perhaps there is no one wanting that torrent? Therefore no traffic. To get them to always open in qB go to one .torrent file and Get Info (command I). Choose qB as you did on the other but also then look down a little ways and click the 'Change All...' button and then in the following dialog window ...

Re: How to migrate from uTorrent to qBittorent on iMac?
I simply loaded all my new torrents, one tracker at a time, by destination, into qB. All my torrents go to one of two places. So I selected all the torrent files for X1 tracker that would go to Y1 location and loaded them up. When I got the dialog window to actually load, asking, where, etc., I made ...

Make donation link more prominent.
I was expecting a more prominent link, like a big ol' button.
Thanks for the work! I'm a refugee from uTorrent/Mac (no 64 bit version - their pathetic, stoopid new web app notwithstanding).

Re: How many seeding torrents can qBittorrent handle?
One issue I had which had me going all-in with Transmission (shudder). YMMV but be wary of using Tags. Merely having the sidebar item "Tags" ticked slowed qB to a crawl. Tip: I f you as did I and simply choose all your torrents and open them in qB, when you get to the dialog window asking ...

batch editing torrent file
One tracker I use has changed its announce address several times. For some old torrents from there the address has changed something like 3 times! In uTorrent I can simply select all torrents needing to be edited and right-click to edit properties, pasting in the new address. Unfortunately this does...
