Re: seeding a file while metadata are missing?
Sorry about this late reply. I understand the OP has the file but no Torrent file. I understand he found a magnetic URL for the file, but it wasn't working. My suggestion was if he can find the torrent file that matches his file, he can start a download with it, even if it has no seeds. he then stop...
Re: no Upload
Hi, you see that little Flame, that means that qBittorrent thinks you may have a problem with your firewall. Go to Windows Settings, Privacy & Security, Windows Security, Firewall & Network Protection. You want to click on "allow a App through the firewall". That will pop up a new ...

Re: seeding a file while metadata are missing?
Have you tried searching by the name of the file as it shows in qBittorrent? If you get lucky you will get one or more websites that you can go to and hopefully, the hash file will match on one of them, and you can download the torrent file. If you get a torrent file, start the torrent and then stop...

Re: edit tracker before start download like utorrent
Not sure if this is what you want, go to options/ behaviors/ downloading torrents, there are several options there, so try them.
Also if you have trackers that you want to add to every torrent, under options/ BitTorrent at the bottom is a place where you can put trackers that you always want to use.

Re: Torrent client dedicated to automatically find public torrents with low seeds to boost them
Not quite like your idea, but if you have a public-domain file you could upload it to archive.org. They will provide trackers, and "web seeds" for the torrent so people can download it even if there are no seeders. It's quite common to witness several torrents with many 0% leechers and stu...

Re: W11 Can u stop blocking files
I believe that is a Windows thing, as long as an active program is using a file, you can't delete it.

Re: Stop torrenting when using certain IP addresses or IP addresses is in certain countries
Sounds like you want a blocklist to block certain IP addresses or groups of IP addresses, so you cannot connect to them. These were popular before we really had VPNs to use. Windows XP had a program called PeerBlock. I checked the website is still up, you could load lists into it and it would not le...
