Does it matter which version to install of 4.6.0?
Is one "better" than the other?

Re: Windows Install error
Did you download the current version from the Windows Store or from qBittorent directly?
I have never received that error when I downloaded from qBittorent directly.

Re: Update Windows SmartScreen says infected so does VT / Comodo
I downloaded the files. Norton 360 gave me an message about trusting the files.
After I selected to "keep" the files, Norton 360 said the files are "safe" and did not treat them as infected.

Re: qBittorent updates not allowed (Windows Defender)
I use NAV, but there is no option like "other"?
Norton gives me the choice to accept (keep), etc. from a drop down menu.

Re: Why is there no auto update function?
I know that there area a lot of steps to upgrade to a new version. But for me, I like having older versions in a specific folder on my pc. I have a folder named Programs, then in there qBittorrent with copies of older versions. That way it is a quick process to downgrade to a previous version for an...

Is 4.5.0 a good upgrade from 4.4.5 now or wait?
I know that this will get a lot of opinions.
Should I "wait" until the next update is out? Or Upgrade from my current v4.4.5 on Windows 11?
Is v4.5.0 an improvement over the older version?

Re: Safe tot use version 4.39?
People have suggested to do that with 4.4.0
I am waiting to install 4.4.1 on my desktop until I see how it fares on my laptop.
The laptop is Windows 10 Home. Desktop is Windows 11 Pro.
Both have all the latest Windows updates.

Re: How to reinstall an older version? (4.4.0 to 4.3.9 for example)
Thanks
For some reason I closed out qBittorent 4.4.0 and then opened it again and did not get the crash message.
Not sure what made it work like it was before the crash.
See if it crashes again.

UPDATE:
For some reason now the error/c rash report is gone and version 4.4.0 is working fine.
Was something changed in the background?

How to reinstall an older version? (4.4.0 to 4.3.9 for example)
Version 4.4.0 is crashing on me now.
How do I reinstall version 4.3.9?
Just run the installer again and it will overwrite verion 4.4.0?
Then when 4.4.1 (or whatever version number it is) just run that installer to upgrade again?

Why is "Size on disk" different than "Size"?
I am trying to copy over my old torrent directory from my old pc to my new one.
Windows 11 states that the "Size on disk" is only 721GB. But the "Size" is 4.36TB.
How can I copy over the smaller directory? Do some files at a time?
