Re: Add "Content layout" options to torrent options and set location
I'm not sure I'm following you. Why can't you do that through "Set Location"?

Re: Problem downloading torrent files
Lack of port forwarding will affect only a tiny minority of cases, it's very unlikely to be the cause of a systematic problem.

Re: Out of space
I recently changed Preferences->Downloads->"Default Save Path" and nothing moved - it just applied to new torrents. This was on FreeBSD though.

Re: Connection issues on fresh install
It seems very unlikely that failed searches have anything to do with port forwarding.

Re: Cleaning torrents based on plenty of other seeders
My understanding is that 5(9) would mean that you are connected to 5 and that a total of 9 has been reported by trackers and DHT. I just keep the ones that I think deserve preserving. I also take account of how likely it is that there will be an alternative torrent. The problem with using the number...

Re: Torrents with tracker errors as errored
I wouldn't like to see this implemented as it would make it hard to spot serious problems.
In public torrents, trackers not working is really common and very unimportant. In private torrents it's usually a short lived problem that we can't do anything about.

Re: Binning partially downloaded files
Commonly files don't align with bittorrent parts, so qbittorrent has to download and store the overlap in a hidden file - small files are often stored entirely. These files are deleted when the torrent is removed. Deleting unwanted files on completion is dangerous because QB makes it really easy to ...

Re: Binning partially downloaded files
This is handled the way you want if you mark a file as "do not download" before any part of that file has downloaded.

Is it just that you entered your ordinary password, rather than an "app password"?

Re: HD goes to 100% usage when downloads start
It doesn't do that - it may have the opposite effect. The point of it is to reduce file system fragmentation on most filesystems.

Re: HD goes to 100% usage when downloads start
If the space were allocated at the point of queuing it would cause some people to run out of space unnecessarily. It could also cause files to be pre-allocated before being set as "do not download". Doing the pre-allocation as late as possible seems like a good idea to me. Is it really suc...

Re: No direct connection
I've not seen "no direct connection" so I had to look it up and I'm still unclear exactly what it's testing- if it's to do with incoming connections it's poorly named. I vaguely remember another client where an an icon would go green on the first successful incoming connection, which seems...
