Would it be possibly to add sorting functionality to the "Peers" tab?

Cheers,

Mike.
I mean, you can add it, it just breaks the tier moving functionality. It's a small patch.

Re: Asustor NAS, how to setup qBittorrent and VPN

The separate interface only shows up if you connect to your VPN via a specific protocol.
For example, OpenVPN connection will result in a tun0 interface.

Check your VPN providers docs if you can use OpenVPN.

Yeah, but be careful. This might last or not last. It's like living on the edge.

Just don't store anything valuable on it and be ready for it to die any second.

Re: Torrent files take up more disk space than actual file size

Yeah, that drive is dead. Pending sectors should be 0 at all times. On the top of CrystalDiskInfo, go into Function -> Advanced Feature -> Raw Values -> 10 DEC And you can see the values. - Reallocated sectors should be 0 - Pending sectors should be 0 - Uncorrectable sector should be 0 If I had a dr...

Re: Torrent files take up more disk space than actual file size

When chkdsk "gives the data back", what's the output? What does it find?

Also what about the drive's health in CrystalDiskInfo?
(you can also use "smartctl" from smartmontools, but I find CDI a bit easier to read)

Re: Torrent files take up more disk space than actual file size

Could you check your disk with "chkdsk"?
See if it throws any errors?

Re: My connection breaks constantly

Lower those connection numbers. Sometimes you have to lower them quite drastically.

Once you lower them, test again. Breaks again? Lower again and test again.

Try adding the install folder as an exception to Defender.

( I never had this removal ever happen on any of the PCs I use or know. )

Re: qBittorrent display the progress bar imprecise

I mean, you can check... 1) You can check by downloading 4.5.5 and test. 2) You can check on the Github site: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent Go on the site, click "Commits" and you can see what went into it between 4.5.5 and 4.6.5. 3) You can check out the git repo and then use...

Re: How to Update qbittorrent for users on older versions of Windows 10

Nice guide and thank you. But I mean, Windows 10 is still supported until 2025 October. And LTSC is supported until 2027. I am fairly sure qBittorrent devs will not drop support right after October 2025. (Yes there is also an IoT Windows 10 which has support until 2032, but I don't think many vendor...

Re: Torrent files take up more disk space than actual file size

That is absolutely weird. - The download should be the same size. - Ive heard instances where people unselected a few items from big torrents and then the unselected files took up space too. But this has been a thing years ago, I never ran into it. And you should see these files physically. - Try ch...

Re: Please return "Content layout" to being a check box instead of a dropdown menu

Please report this on the bug tracker so the team can see it: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/ Is it a bug? I thought that it's just how app is configured now. Oh no, I meant the team can reply to your feedback there. Some read this forum but not all. The "official way" ...
