Re: its on strike
te] You can always add new trackers to them, if they are public torrents. There's a lot of advocacy for this, but I've yet to hear a good argument for why it's useful. Modern clients don't need trackers at all for public torrents. In any case the great majority of public torrents die before their l...

Re: Binding VPN, Network Interface is all wonky
Hello Peter...I am have the same issue. So would you recommend getting another VPN instead of SurfShark? Thanks and Happy New Year! :) Maybe SurfShark can do this too, just look in the app settings. You can usually switch protocol in the program. Try switching around them until you find one that sh...

Re: Destination Folder Opens Automatically (And Repeatedly) for Seeding Torrents
Sorry but that's not possible. There is no such "code".
Unless you went into Settings, Downloads (on left) and then put something in the "Run on torrent completed" or added fields.
Otherwise, it will never auto-open unless you do so by yourself in the client.

Simply open the port by hand on your router; assign an IP via static DHCP; set the same port on the rpi in qBittorrent... and let 'er rip!

Re: UAC virtualize might ease RAM leaking issue
1) Look up "RustDesk" and "MeshCentral" to remote control 2) I don't think this feature does anything. Ram usage should not go up at all, there is no memory leak whatsoever in the current versions. Haven't been one for like ever. RAM usage may increase if you are downloading and ...

Re: Is the adware still present in this version of torrent?
qBittorrent never ever had ads or sponsored programs. EVER.
I think you downloaded the program from an unknown source that bundled this extra crapware.

Re: [official]qBittorrent 4.6.2 installer - Built with MSVC 2022
Just updated from 4.5.5 to 4.6.2 without changing any settings, and my RSS feed stopped working and the globe icon turned red.. (connection offline). The port is open in my AV firewall and my router. Any idea before I revert to a previous version? Just an update won't break stuff like that. Check y...
Re: Update
Open Task Manager and close qbittorrent there.
If you can't see it, go to Details tab and close the qBittorrent.exe from there.
Then update should work OK.

Re: Torrents do not upload
If it's a private tracker, you don't seed the torrent once you create it. You upload the created file to the tracker website. THEN you download it from the website (!). And that is the file you have to seed. (explanation: the website inserts the tracker address and your own private key into the file.)
