qBittorrent won't start downloading
About a week ago I could normally download with qBittorrent. Then I had graphics problems (I have a laptop) and I had to take it to a repair service, but before doing so I took out the HDD, just in case. They fixed it and after returning the HDD inside it won't download anymore (only qBittorrent). I didn't do anything with it, it just stopped working for some reason. I can see seeds and peers but only in brackets. utorrent is downloading, it's not firewall, tried good guy google, had no luck. Running win 8.1 x64. Can please someone help?

Re: qBittorrent won't start downloading
My assumption is that you don't really connect through IPv6 to the Internet although locally your network adaptor exposes an ipv6 address.
So until I release v3.1.10 try my latest alpha: http://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php/topi ... l#msg12471
(it has an option that you need to explicitly set if you truly want ipv6. Now by default it uses ipv4 )

Re: qBittorrent won't start downloading
I'll try it ty, but do you have an idea why it might have suddenly stopped working?

Re: qBittorrent won't start downloading
Your adaptor exposes many addresses locally. qt queries it and passes the first address in the list to libtorrent. Then libtorrent listen on that address. My assumption is that the address list is randomly sorted each time. So previously you got the ipv4 address first and now it gets the ipv6 address first.
Or something changed in the hardware or on the OS during the repair that makes qbt pick up the ipv6 address first.

Re: qBittorrent won't start downloading
I have a similar problem, nothing has changed on my system and win 8.1 is a fresh install. thanks for the heads up about ipv6.
Queued torrents won't download but I can see seeds etc. It will download if I pause and resume it.
I don't use IPv6 so I have disabled it in Win8.1.
