News Search engines
News Search engines
I wish that were added over search engines. These Fenopy, Bitsnoop, torrent crazy, full downloads, Limetorrents
Re: News Search engines
Not sure what your question is ... but https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... ch-plugins
Re: News Search engines
These that I mentioned and that are there as limetorrents or fenopy already no longer work
Re: News Search engines
Did I mention that I had no idea what your question actually was?
I realise that English may not be your native language, but we can only answer what is asked.
For example
What are "News Search Engines"?
Or.
What does news have to do with qBitTorrent?
What does this
There is no statement or preposition in the sentence so it has no context.
So now you have clarified the what you mean,
the 's' is a mistype and the title should read "New Search Engines"
"I wish that were added over search engines."
... that can be added in preference to ...
And no, this is not me being the arrogant Brit poking fun at "Johnny foreigner" this is me being helpful with the English language. Personally I know enough French to order a bacon sandwich, enough Italian to order Calzone and enough German to start a brawl.

Re: News Search engines
However to actually answer the question.
The project needs a Python programmer who is also familiar with many of the Torrent indexers and trackers search protocols and time to keep up with the changes that the sites make from time to time.
Any volunteers out there???

Re: News Search engines
I see nobody ever wanted to commit. That's such a pitty. I wish I could do that. Alas I am a simple NOOB :-(
Re: News Search engines
@SDIK: There are Python contributors on our Github, just check the issues/commits.
You can also make a new issue and tag it as "Wishlist", and see if someone implements your new engine.
I am also open to fix engines if they ever break down.
Example #1: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/2260
Example #2: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/2020

News Search engines
I may be wrong, but I thought I could always do a search on tracker abbrevations before?
It might be some temporary issue.

Re: News Search engines
Tell me if you agree in implementing demonoid as official and put torrentreactor in the unofficial list:
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/2873
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/2873
Re: News Search engines
Official meant we (the qBittorrent core team) maintain them.*
Unofficial meant third-party contributors write/maintain them.
Now since Sledgehammer took over the project, most engines have been fixed/rewritten by third party people.
(Correct me if I am wrong - this is all just a "as far as I know" reply.)
* They were written and maintaned by Chris, the former project lead.

Re: News Search engines
Demonoid has been fixed and works very well. I hope it will become official by the time qbittorrent 3.2.0 is out.
Re: News Search engines
You are misunderstanding the difference between "Official" and "Unofficial" with respect to the search 'plugins'.I hope it will become official by the time qbittorrent 3.2.0 is out.
Re: News Search engines
The working demonoid plugin, just like the torrentz one, has been fixed by an active guy and he isn't Chris.
Re: News Search engines
That's why it is 'unofficial'has been fixed by an active guy and he isn't Chri
