There isn't currently a way to change the directory of where disk cache is stored, is there? If not, is this feature being considered? How significant would disk cache being stored on an SSD as opposed to a HDD be in terms of performance? I really want to store disk cache on HDD.
Also, I tried googling where Windows 10 stores its disk cache but could find no answers. Anyone know?
Thanks.
Change disk cache directory?

That is because it is in memory.
Why would a 'disc cache' be stored on the disc??? That would defeat the purpose of a disc cache.

Okay
@mindstormer ...
WHY would you report a post that educates you AND anybody else that has the same misconception regarding a disc cache.
The entire purpose of this discussion form is to extend and improve the knowledge that ANY user should have regarding qbittorrent. Given that you did ask this question is indicative of there being others that do not understand this same point, and my answer was worded deliberately to make you and others think.
Education is not simply providing explicit answers on demand, it is all about making people think for themselves.
