Thanks for making this cool program.  I am having trouble with a completed torrent.  The process stops with this message:

Code: Select all

C:/Users/Dad/AppData/Local/Temp/ocrD40E.tmp/src/resumedatfinal.rb:97:in `sort': comparison of String with Array failed (ArgumentError)
        from C:/Users/Dad/AppData/Local/Temp/ocrD40E.tmp/src/resumedatfinal.rb:97:in `tPunchup'
        from C:/Users/Dad/AppData/Local/Temp/ocrD40E.tmp/src/resumedatfinal.rb:390:in `block in <main>'
        from C:/Users/Dad/AppData/Local/Temp/ocrD40E.tmp/src/resumedatfinal.rb:375:in `each'
        from C:/Users/Dad/AppData/Local/Temp/ocrD40E.tmp/src/resumedatfinal.rb:375:in `<main>'
Tomorrow I'll try some workarounds and see if I get stuck somewhere else.

Tried both posted versions.

I haven't used this before.
Just by looking at what u posted. You need spaces.

ut2qt.exe "%appdata%\utorrent\resume.dat" "%appdata%\Local\qBittorrent\BT_backup"

Hello 2 all  :)

I have a question:

_ I suspect my resume.dat is corrupt. Utorrent 3.0 upward last for 2 minutes before closing themselves with no error appear. Utorrent 2.2.1 is the same, except it freezes for all eternity

Is that gonna have any effect if I move to qBittorrent? I have nearly 55,000 on list so........ ::) can't afford to loose them.

Will this import method list the uploaded/downloaded volume value, and also the "date added on" and "date completed on" values ?

What if you clear the qBittorrent config folder?

It's in: %APPDATA%\qBittorrent

WIN+R and type that there.
Just back it up first.

Hi. I'm trying to switch permanently to qBittorrent away from uTorrent. I used the migration and IT SEEMED to work almost perfectly (i had to manually re-add two torrents out of around 112)

My question is... when i started up all my torrents, then go to the tracker websites and see which ones it sees me as seeding, they all claim I am seeding the torrents... the problem is the client says all of my torrent are "queued" except for 4 or 5 which say "seeding" and it has stayed this way for a long time.

Is this normal?

I followed the instructions but get this message:

Code: Select all

WARNING: The rest_client gem is deprecated and will be removed from RubyGems. Please use rest-client gem instead.
uTorrent is still running! Close it and wait for the process to disappear before running this again.
uTorrent is not running. What did I do wrong?

Great job, guys !
I've transferred 91 torrents from my utorrent 2.2.1 in about 3 seconds.

also registered to give thanks.

migration worked (almost) like a charm on first try.

only one torrent (incomplete) showed up as complete (one file of the torrent was complete, another was not)

no big issue though.

thanks
