Hi Guys,
Just re-acquainting myself with qBitTorrent, after recently ditching uTorrent 3.31 (didn't like Windows 10 1607!)
One slight annoyance I've found is that downloaded .torrent files are dumped into the user's local "temp" folder
in my case it's:
C:\Users\win10user\AppData\Local\Temp
There is an option within the program to also 'copy' the .torrent file to a user-specified folder:
Options > Downloads > Copy .torrent files to...
Isn't this a bit pointless? Surely it would be best to allow the user to specify where the .torrent are to be downloaded to?
They way I had things set up with uTorrent was as follows:
Torrents -> D:\Downloads\Torrents
.torrent files -> D:\Downloads\Torrents\Torrent Files
This way, it's simple to keep everything together and know where the Torrents and associated .torrent files are. Very handy
for moving from machine to machine.
Cheers,
Mike.
