qb 3.3.6 status "working" on DHT, PeX, LSD but no connections...ever!

It's a really really annoying thing, and myself and ISP have gone through just about everything, router, router firewall, VPN, then into the Mac settings, firewall OFF, and tweaked and changed SO many things...the search also, since it can't connect to any other peers, also finds nothing (that I want anyway!) and rather than in the past, where I got literally 100s of things in the list, now I get about 4 or 5...of pretty useless...well, "stuff" which is not why we use torrents.

Does anyone have this issue and sorted it yet?

Have you tried testing with a known-to-be-working Linux Distro torrent that has 100's of seeds?
If that doesn't work, is qBT bound to the wrong interface?
What internet connection type do you have?
