Hi shiki.

You mean post them all here, or make suggestions here for the forum?

You do need some more forum sections, it's to small.

Need any help let me know, been a geek and tech a long time...

I've been following the forum every day. Now I missed out a 1-2 days..and what do I see? Things became a bit more lively. :)

Uhm.. yeah. I meant.. please post here if you have ideas about what topics/categories should I create. (Also Christopher can do this but..guess he is busy with writing qBittorrent... >.>)

So far it's not that hard to administrate the whole site. The only problem are the themes and plugins. Somehow phpBB became a bit of a let down. Even Drupal would provide more flexibility.
(Don't know if we should go for a different engine later. 2.xx was awesome when I was using it every day with a lot of people. I mean... we had a lot of plugins, skins. Now, all the development (plugin, skins, etc) seems to be halted. Maybe PunBB/IPB/anything would be a better choice. We'll see it later. (I don't really want to code plugins for phpBB... :)) )

The phpbb default theme you are using now is ok, it goes with the color of the qBittorrent artwork and logo, so it's good, I wouldn't worry about it or change it. :)

Ok does Chris want Windows bugs reported on Launchpad?

https://bugs.launchpad.net/qbittorrent/

If not then maybe we make a Windows Bug section on the forum here.

Ok here are bittorrent client forums to help give you some ideas.

The problem is.. we already have all the sub-topics listed on the other sites. The only exception is the bug / software related stuff, but Chris asked me NOT to open such topics, and leave that for Launchpad. Guess it's way more comfortable than struggling with it here in the forums.

But as I said, please just write here which topics, sub-topics should I add.

Well qBittorrent is for Windows and Linux so maybe you should break up the qBittorrent section into two sub categories, one for Windows issues and the other for Linux.

Also if you make these two sections for Linux and Windows, then do you only want a qBittorrent Main directory, or maybe it's better to break these sections into sub categories, that focus on specific problems, like a 'Web UI' section, 'Install Problems', Troubleshooting', etc...

There should be Sub Categories, otherwise it's going to look like one big pile around here...

Right now people are making posts as [LINUX] - [WIN], which is just going to start looking more of a mess later, in fact I already hate looking at... :(

I can break it but we also have so many other platforms it'd take about 10 topics to split them all. I'll try using a Win/Linux/Other sections.

Well just remember this and I know it might be crazy, but there is a world Of Unix/Linux that HATES Microsoft, so personally I wouldn't keep them together.

Call it silly but it's true, it is a turn off to some...

Better safe then sorry and make all different sections for each OS, because a lot of people believe they deserve their own sections...

And to tell you the truth I don't like digging through all the other OS sections to read the one I only want too and I've personally never seen a forum ever combine all the different OS together...
