disable domain checking

Post by darksurf »

I need to know how to add a domain name or disable domain checking. my last qbittorrent docker update has been catastrophic. Its useless. I use qbittorrent-nox on a server in a network rack in a closet. I don't use it on my desk with monitors. Since I'm not loading it from the localhost I keep getting an error 401. This has literally killed my qbittorrent experience. I can't use it at all at this point. I need a way to disable this mess or add an approved domain name, local IP, anything.

There is no way for you to access the configs of the machine using ssh?

I thought you could change this in the Preferences section -> WebUI/ServerDomains using the WebUI locally/remotely with http://localorremoteIPofQBT:webuiport ?

it would be nice to know if there is a way to disable this too as I had to remote in and reconfigure mine to work, and it does not work with my hostname!

I can SSH in just fine, but I find this extremely broken. it should be shut-off by default with a flag to enable/disable for recovery/edits.
