Monitoring torrent status from terminal

Post by Oha »

Hi all,
I have setup qbittorrent-nox to work as an internal file distribution system on a cluster. Essentially I have large files/folders that need to be distributed to the entire cluster, so I make them into torrents and have all the nodes download them.

I am able to upload and download using different nodes, but I need a way of monitoring when all the nodes finished downloading in order to close qbittorrent at that point. I was looking for a log file, but found that I would need to edit the config file on all nodes in order to enable logs, which could be an issue as I want general users of the cluster to be able to do this and I don't want them to need to go change the config file. If there was a single config file that I could change that would apply to all users it might be possible, though not ideal.

Does qbittorrent-nox provide any way outside the web-UI that will allow me to do such monitoring?

Thanks in advance for any help available!
