Hello everybody,
I'm Ahmed, and I'm a graphic designer.
I just started using qBittorrent an hour ago, and I'm thinking of moving from Vuze.
While I'm checking qBittorrent website and this forum, I sensed passion among people, and I like such an atmosphere.
I was wondering, does 'q' in "qBittorrent" stand for 'quick'?
Thank you, and have a nice day!
Ahmed.

Welcome aboard, Ahmed!

You should move from Vuze. Even if it's not qBittorrent. Vuze has sold out year ago and moved far away from it's core goals. If I have to use Vuze, I always switch to the old Azureus GUI. But yeah, that part has not received any new features or contribution for years now.

Qt!
If you program C++ and you want your program to have an interface (basically what the users can click, use, control), you need to use a toolkit. Qt allows you to have a GUI within minutes - and it runs on every platform (Windows, Linux, OSX). So... that's why it's q.
