torrents not working

when i do a search for torrents it shows the size and seeds. i then click to download it and it shows in the transfers as no seeds and 0 size. this happens with all the searches using qbittorrent.

A VPN, proxy, or firewall could be blocking qBitTorrent.

...Or a hostile ISP.

If you've used other BitTorrent clients in the recent past, do they work?

"is it something to do with cyberghost"

Probably so.

Same problem. All torrents completely stopped working/downloading. My guess is AT&t is blocking torrent downloading.

Eddie, test with a very busy Linux Distro torrent.
I doubt qT&T would block those...

You were correct. Was not the ISP blocking torrents. I've been using port forwarding from the wireless router for well over a year now. Worked great with no problems. Sometime early this year, it all stopped working without me making any changes to Qbt settings. All torrents stalled/no seeds. Anyway, I started fiddling around with the settings last night and it came back to life after making changes to Windows 10 firewall to allow communications in and out with forwarded Port 59999. Never had to do that before, but all is back to normal. Thankfully!

Sounds like the fun of being firewalled for no apparent reason -- works ok on really busy public torrents, but often does not on anything else.

Hi !!

A VPN, proxy, or firewall could be blocking qBitTorrent.

I had to roll back Window's April 2018 Update to get qbittorrent to work again.  It worked on my Mac, so it wasn't an ISP/router issue.  Once I rolled back 1803 everything returned to normal.
