does not download

Guys I need help. I  am new to using Fedora. Actually when using Fedora 25, qbittorrent worked like a charm. Now I am fedora 27. I am totally stumped and help is much appreciated. Basically any torrent file link just does not working with qbittorrent. It just says "not working". I have all the necessary plugins installed already. The very same torrent link can be downloaded with transmission or even ktorrent.  I just love qbittorrent for it's search functions. Please help
