GREETINGZ ALL
I'm hoping someone might have the answer to this problem. As soon as I boot up (QBITTORRENT) & go 2 task manager & peep (CPU) it showz 50% & above. And this is without downloading any torrentz, just at idle. I am running on (WINDOWS 10 PRO / 64 BIT) & I'm using (QBITTORRENT v3.3.13). I hadn't been torrenting 4 a while now, and late last night while reseaching another area the need arose 4 me 2 refer 2 torrentz. That'z how I eventually came across this problem. Hope somebody in the community knowz wut'z the cause & fix & can help. Thx all, peace

Just wanted 2 update everyone on my previous post. After my previous post I went back 2 my computer & started thinking about wut might be causing my current problem? So I decided 2 start with my antivirus program (AVAST INTERNET SECURITY), & check the firewall settingz. When I took a peek, the network settingz 4 (QBITTORRENT) waz set 2 allow outbound connectionz & block all incoming. So I changed the settingz 2 allow all outbound & incoming connectionz from (QBITTORRENT) & specified the listening port generated by (QBITTORRENT) 2 use. After I made those changez, I went 2 task manager 2 ck the (CPU) reading, & it read between 4&6% usage. I don't know if this will turn out 2 be a permanant fix, but the (CPU) usage numberz did drop & 4 right now, seem 2 be staying in the single digit range. Will keep an eye on the situation, & report back either way. Hope this will in fact be a permanant fix 2 this problem.
