Hello I just tried out qb and really like it, however I am having issues with saving to my nas (synology 212) .... tried to google around but not seeing anything.
Is saving to a network attached storage supported ??
Currently getting I/O errors ..... no issues when saving to my local disk.
Utorrent has no issues saving across network.
Cannot Save to Network Attached Storage ?
Re: Cannot Save to Network Attached Storage ?
This may or may not be of any help, but I had a very similar issue. My problem stemmed from using symbolic links for qBit's "C:\Users\{User}\AppData\Local\qBittorrent" directory, which I had relocated to my D: drive, but after I removed the symlink and restored the original directory structure it worked perfectly.
Also, when I first got my NAS [an iOmega] I accessed it via the 3rd-party software supplied, it wasn't until some time after I realised I could just map it as a network drive in Windows, so now I have it mapped as Z: drive.

Re: Cannot Save to Network Attached Storage ?
Using this in save files location field:
Same as what I have in utorrent. Can't see why it wouldn't work.
\\DISKSTATION\My Shared Folder

Re: Cannot Save to Network Attached Storage ?
Try mapping "\\DISKSTATION\My Shared Folder" as a network drive (so X: or something) then try pointing qBit at X:\ instead...
I just did a quick test, and when I use the network location of my NAS I get I/O errors, but when I map the location as a drive it works fine.

Re: Cannot Save to Network Attached Storage ?
FF0 it looks like your hack works !
Not the most elegant solution to be sure ...... hope devs can do some work on the windows client to make the transition to qbittorrent smoother for new users.
Thanks again, with this hack qb is now my primary client.
Now if DHT node detection gets improved (utorrent usually has twice the nodes) we will be really humming xD
