I have had trouble installing the newest update to qbittorrent, but it says that the application is running even when its not, so i thought about deleting my current version to just install the new beta but that doesn't work either, is there a possible way to fix this problem? I also cannot install the current stable version either.

I'd definitely check Task Manager, in case the process is still stuck there.
Happens to me since 4.1.6 or so. The application icon is gone, and there is just a few megabytes process left, doing nothing.
If I close it "forcefully" nothing bad happens.
