Unauthorized accessing WebUI over internet

Post by midders »

Hi there

I can access the WebUI from within my home network with no problem, and I have ssh access to my server over the internet using dynamic DNS from NOIP and port forwarding on my (TalkTalk) modem/router, but whenever I try to load the WebUI from outside my home network all I get is 'Unauthorized'.

I've googled it and tried disabling cross site/click jacking protection and site header check, but with no joy. Anybody got any ideas?

Found the problem; I was using a different external port for security reasons which works fine for most purposes, but when the port is specified in the URL, the external and internal ports for the socket must be the same.
