As soon as I set my save to and watch directory locations and hit apply, every single torrent file (.torrent) instantly vanished from the single directory where I keep them (T:\Torrents). I then moved a few more files into this directory, and boom they also instantly vaporized! I have the "manual" mode enabled, which I assumed would be implicit and do nothing without my direction. This is VERY disconcerting and annoying to say the least.
So upon searching my drives for them, I found that they had all been moved into qBittorrent's working directory - C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\BT_backup. Even worse than that (which is easily undone), they have all been renamed to encrypted file names - "A Good Movie.torrent" became "00b1cc56d1eace0a8489b676d161fccce494b57e.torrent"! Thankfully I could take the time to manually rename and relocate each and every file by using its Info Hash v1 value, but I'm really hoping that this will not be necessary!
I realize that this was probably caused by one or more settings that I changed and obviously didn't understand their intent or consequence, but none the less I need to reverse this and get all of my files back to their original names.
