qbittorrent stopped working

My qBittorrent program went from downloading at about 8Mb per second to about 8Kb per second. I had been using it for about 3 months with no problems the one day this. I turned all my fire walls off and uninstalled my antivirus software, uninstalled qBittorrent then re-installed it and the same thing. I tried a different torrent program Vuze and it works fine thought I really prefer qBittorrent. I wonder if anyone can help me. Thanks

At the bottom of your qBittorrent window you will see a small icon that looks like a speed indicator beside the connection status icon. Make sure you havent mistakenly switched it over to the alternative speed, just click on it, the speed hand should be facing to the right, if its to the left thats the alternative speed. If thats not it, go into Options and click on the Speed tab, and set your upload and download speeds to 0 (which is unlimited) or put what ever limit you want it at and also set the alternative speeds to where you want them at. I also had a similar issue with qbittorent and trying to figure out how to solve this issue on windows....

This happened to me as well. I have two pc´s, one desk side and one laptop, both connected via fibre ( 1Gb/s). I use Windows 11 with latest updates on both. I use HideAway from Firetrust as VPN-client. With VPN connected I get a speed of 600-900 kb/s on both pc´s.
qBittorrent has worked fine on both for some time. Now not working since some weeks.

I'm about to download qBitttorent again and see if anything has changed. I hope so because I don't like the VUSE torrent downloader I'm using atm

- Always do your port forward by hand. Make sure your router's port forward is set up and your PC is getting the IP you forward to.
- Always make sure you don't have ANY kind of software firewall blocking qBittorrent. Make SURE to whitelist qBittorrent in all and every firewall you use.
