Warning: max outstanding piece requests reached

Post by johnny jackhammer »

With performance alerts on I get this handy warning:
11/26/22 8:43 AM - Performance alert: TorrentNameHere: performance warning: max outstanding piece requests reached. More info: https://libtorrent.org/reference-Alerts ... -warning-t
I followed instructions and visited the web address but there are no settings in qBittorrent that allow me to make the recommended changes.

Any help would be appreciated ;D

I mean, that just should not happen.
Which version are you using?

Sorry for the very late response, but I received no email that there was a response

Bittorrent v4.5.0 (64-bit)
Qt: 6.4.0
Libtorrent: 1.2.18.0
Boost: 1.80.0
OpenSSL: 1.1.1s
zlib: 1.2.11

I have turned off the performance alerts, but keep wondering if there is a way to tune my qBt settings for better performance. I am seeding about 1600 torrents and growing.

1GB/s down/ 20MB/s up

3.6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
HDD 120 MB/s Write 146MB/s Read

I'm having the same issue with this warning in Qbittorrent and net new downloads stalling that are being sent to Qbit via Autobrr.
What is causing this? What settings can I change to prevent this?

If I pause the stalled download and resume it, it will download and the performance warnings will persist, but why is the download stalling?
