Very simply: How do I "stop" a torrent?

Post by gexgecko »

When I used utorrent, I liked to keep a list of my torrents in "completed" to ease navigation etc.

In the right click menu for utorrent, there is no "stop" option, only "pause".
This would be fine as an alternative but for 2 points:
1. Paused torrents move back into "downloading" sometimes after I move the source files.
2. It is difficult to tell the difference between torrents I wish to seed and those I do not when they're all mashed up in my "completed" folder.

Does this simply functionality exist? Surely I don't have to choose between only "pause" and a 2-stage prompt "delete"?

Pause = Stop in qBittorrent.
Of course your torrents will be moved to Download category, if you move the downloaded files. You must change the download folder too.
Use labels to avoid messing up the torrents.
