Bare metal to docker problem?

Post by Caracal9876 »

Hello all. So I’m looking to migrate to docker as that would allow me to make the install much more portable to different machines and is really easy to run the networking through a vpn container like gluetun.

However when I moved my folders from my Ubuntu install over to a docker setup (also on Ubuntu), the docker instance will only be uploading maybe 1 or two files at a time. It’s on the same machine where I currently run the bare metal install. So when I start up the bare metal install again, it’s actively uploading 10+ files.

Any ideas on what to look at to find out why there is such a difference in what it’s uploading?

For anyone who might come across this situation in the future. For my situation, I found it was due to the setting on the “BitTorrent” tab for “torrent queueing”. I unchecked that to turn it off and it started working like my bare metal install.
Hope it helps someone else eventually.
