SmartApp Control

Post by zamarax »

Hi, any chance of getting the application signed? Windows SmartApp control blocks it entirely and the only way to turn off SmartApp control is to reset my whole system.

You can just click the dialog option on top and allow this file only. No need to mess with the system.

But to answer the question: It's really expensive to get code signing done. The certs are really expensive.
It's around 200-300$ a year or so on the low-end.

I was able to get around it, there is no easy way to disable 'SmartApp Control' but...there is a registry hack that you can do to allow it to install, it reverts once you restart but it's enough to allow me to apply updates.
