qBittorrent shutting down
A strange thing happened to me last night I downloaded some software that must have had some sort of virus and Avast both quantined it and shut qbittorrent down and even removed my shortcut on my desktop for the software. I tried to re install qBittorent and kept getting the message "error opening file for writing, click abort. I tried it numerous times and still kept getting the message. I then tried uninstalling the software, removing everything from the program files. I even did a registry clean using CC cleaner and tried to reinstall the software using a fresh download. The same thing happened and kept getting the same message. In the end I had to do a restore to the morning of that day when I knew qBittorent was working correctly and hey presto qBittorrent was there. Everything is OK now but would like to know why it happened and what I could of done differently for it to work again without doing a restore to a time when I knew it was working correctly. Hope that makes sense.
