log in app doesn't match log file

Is this normal?

There are many log entries for today in the "Execution Log" window.
When I look in the log file on my system there are no entries for today, the last entries are for two days ago.

What might be preventing qBt from logging? It only seems to log to the file when I am opening qBt or exiting qBt.

Now that I have closed the app and reopened it's logging properly to the log file. Still concerned that there was a two day gap where it wasn't outputting to the log file.

I am on a custom build for macOS.
