- install phyton 3.13
- delete in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\nova3
__init__.py
and
__pycache__
- restart Qbit

__init__.py
and
__pycache__
- restart Qbit

Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
Easiest solve: Go to https://github.com/c0re100/qBittorrent- ... n/releases
Click show all 15, [the most commonly used is out of sight until you do] qbittorrent_enhanced_5.0.0.10_x64_setup.exe
This one works when you click UPDATE in plugins

Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
Enhanced is NOT qBittorrent.
It has a different peer ID as well and its most suited for Eastern-Chinese market.

Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
tried all these things except installing enhanced edition i am now at that point if this doesnt work or it does but enhanced is rubbish im gonna give up on qbit and try some other software becuase this has been going on for weeks now ,ive tried every permutation of every fix ,with no change of any kind ,so i think enough is enough and qbit is junked ,for me anyway

Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
i was thinking maybe i could try the beta python 3.14 i doubt it will help as ive already tried several previous versions as i have tried previous versions of qbit ,which makes no sense as ive backdated both things and combined different versions of both plus manually deleting files at different times so i am at a loss to work out where the problem is coming from,so anyway does anyone know where i can download it ,a longshot but ive tried everything else and im really fed up of manually hunting for torrent files in this day and age its really tiresome
Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
As others said before..
- Please remove all Python versions from your PC
- Install the latest official from Python's website (or qBittorrent's installer will do it for you)
- Remove all search plugins because you may have outdated/broken ones
- Click search for plugins and they are all installed

yup done all that
Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
if still doesn't work, you can specify Python's path in advanced settings.

Re: Search plugins for 5.0?
specify it to what ? to where? should i point it specifically at qbit? i would assume it already is accessed by qbit becuase if not then theres no search function in qbit at all

i dont beleive the problem is with python i beleive the problem is qbit after all it worked fine till i installed latest version, which i now really regret, the l thing i havent tried is completely uninstalling qbit which was the very thing i have been trying to avoid but which also points at the problem being with qbit not python
