Download speed drops after I've downloaded 1GB for the session

When I start up qBittorrent it works fine in the start, getting around 10MB/s in download speed. But after I've downloaded 1GB for the session it drops to >100KB/s and sometimes gets 5MB/s for half a second before it drops down again.

I have tried multiple solutions (like disabling Firewall, changing settings in qB, port forwarding etc.) to which none have worked. I don't think it is a problem with seeders or such because it starts fine and always slow down when I hit 1GB downloaded.

And if I just close the application and open it back up I immediately get my normal speeds again, until the 1GB mark.

It also doesn't matter how many torrents I have active, whether it be 5 or 30.

what is your ISP? I've had the same issue when trying to use data on a tethered mobile LTE plan, a result of the provider's throttling, nothing to do with QBT in my case.
