[official]qBittorrent 3.0.11 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Re: qBittorrent 3.0.7+3.1.0alpha installers - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Just tried to migrate from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7. Found out that my old torrent-files, created with 3.0.0 and 2.9.11 (in BT_backup) cause crashes
If I remove them, it starts as it should. When i try to add dem manually, qB crashes again.
(w7 x64) [may be i wrote it in a wrong topic ]

Could you post one of those torrents(or pm them to me) ? and/or translate the error message?

Is this the same problem I was having? When adding a completed torrent (seeding) it crashes straight away. Or if qB already contains completed torrents, crashes at startup.
Also Win7 x64. Did you try the x64 build, either 3.0.6 or 3.1alpha, no 3.0.7 yet.

No 3.0.7 of x64 build, as I said in the same sentence...

Sent it to you in PM . This error message is typical, "qb doesn't work and will be closed"

Is there any advantage to using the x64 builds? If so, could someone please post a link to these builds? Thanks for the help.

There is no official x64 build. And it shouldn't make any measurable difference in using it.
(Dayman provides unofficial x64 builds, his builds should be fine)

I have found the issue. It is a libtorrent+msvc bug. Please check your PMs.

For anyone interested here is the upstream bug report: https://code.google.com/p/libtorrent/is ... &start=100
@Dayman, since you use a newer version of msvc can you confirm the bug?

It works well for me too, but I've found something weird...
If I delete "%HOMEPATH%\Application Data\qBittorrent," the rehash confirmation dialog no longer appears.

What is that dialog you speak of?
Btw, as far as I know torrent progress is saved in *.fastresume files in %HOMEPATH%\Local Setting\Application Data\qBittorrent\BT_backup
