Dropping Peers if minimized? ver3.0.9

I am a recent convert to qbitorrent, and so far its good, unless I am seeding. I only seem to connect to peers when I'm LOOKING at the client or while downloading, its quite odd. I clicked the "do not count slow torrents in my limits" which made me assume Id get more than my cap of 2up/2down and therefore upload more torrents without editing my settings when its slow, to no avail. I don't turn off my computer and have seeded some of these for 50+ hours and they still aren't done.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

If you want more torrents to be active, either turn off torrent queueing or increase the numbers.

From what it looks, you're seeding torrents that are likely very well seeded already. Don't be surprised if you don't get much upload in such an environment.
