I've been fighting with a problem I haven't encountered before and can't conquer even with an uninstallation and reinstallation.
When I fire up qBittorrent, it freezes. I can't select anything on the main window such as "content," "peers," or the torrent I'm downloading. Within ten to twelve seconds, the qBittorrent window grays out and I'm stuck. I can't do anything except minimize, maximize, or X out of the application. I do get the "force quit" option when I hit the X. I thought at first it was a problem with the torrent, but I can download the same one on Windows' qBittorrent. I uninstalled qB through the software center link, then reinstalled it. The torrent remained, of course, but so did the problem. However, I can still use everything else in Ubuntu, from games to internet browsing to media files. Only qB is affected.
The system was fully updated two days ago but the problem didn't hit until today. If anyone needs crash logs, let me know which ones you need and where they are. I'm still figuring out this Ubuntu thingy. Any ideas? I'm lost.
