@all there is a new build available on sf.net that fixes the "minimize to tray problem". Use the old link.
Please report if this build is ok or has bugs. Thank you

Everything is OK :) Thanks a lot to you and Chris!

@sledgehammer_999 & @ DAYMAN & @ Chris of course:
Thanks for everything i just installed the 2.9.10 built from SF.net (almost downloaded if automatically from inside qbt...wew....); 100% good during the last 30 minutes
ONE HUGE update compared to the previous windows built is that the priority ARROW  issue has been FIXED !! Finally !!! now when i push the up arrow, the torrent DOES go up in priority.
THAT was NOT the case before...and it was totally illogical.
THANX !

It's the same thing. No need to worry.

Running for an hour now. Seems very solid and have a slight speed increase.
Only issue I noticed was that file checking seems a bit slow.

Definitely a keeper though so far.

Thanks, to all people working on this project.
I am using qbt 2.9.10 on xp sp3, no bugs so far.

The only concern I have is that the highlight on the new left panel is hard to see. As you can see in the screenshot posted by Tomaso, you can't even tell what group is being highlighted on the left.

Thanks again... and this would be my first post here.

A big thanks to Chris and sledge for the fast fix-release! :)

A little note on the recent GUI changes though..
Some parts don't look so good when using the classic Windows theme in WinXP anymore:

Welcome tekko :), this is how it looks on Win 7 32-Bit:

By the way, does the availability bar works with you guys? Mine shows -1.000. As you can see the stripes and colors are right but the number isn't changing.

Hi, NeMo_0. That would be the left panel I'd prefer, just like before the change. Maybe it's a bug for the classic theme'd XP.

As you said, the number next to the availability bar stays -1.000. I never looked at it before, so I have no idea if it's new or not.

Confirmed.
The bug was already reported here:

I submitted a new bug report for the GUI bug here:

I have fixed the availability bug on the development server so next release will be alright.

Regarding the UI "issues":
- The left panel is supposed to be transparent (no white background). It seems to look on XP, the same way as it looks on Mac and Linux (so OK in my opinion). It's white on Win7 for some reason, I'm not sure why but either way, I don't see it as a big deal
- The buttons on XP have no space between them it seems, is this the only problem?

Yes, the buttons at the bottom is not a "problem" per se..
It's just that they looked better the way they were before.

The selections on the left side can be classified as borderline problematic though..
As tekko pointed out; it's hard to tell what's highlighted.
In v2.9.7, the GUI looked the same for WinXP as for Win7 (white background), which was way better IMHO.

Hi, what I considered bad on the new look is that I can't really tell what group is selected on the left. There is only a little color change on the icon. i.e. torrents could be removed accidentally in the Paused group while the real targeted group is Completed if the unfinished torrent is in paused state. That's my opinion on the new UI. Thanks for your hard work.

I see.

Regarding the buttons, the lack of spacing does look weird on Windows XP so I'll add a bit of spacing. FYI, the buttons used to be styled with CSS but now I'm using the default buttons style. For sure, it looks uglier on WinXP but it looks much better (or at least more consistent) on other systems.

For the left panel, I did not realize from the screenshot the lack of selection highlighting. I haven't done anything special for the highlighting so this appears to be a styling issue with WinXP style. I'll see what I can do about this.

@chris

Also notice the boldness of the words "Labels" and "Torrents". They seem a little fuzzy.
