I think that with some torrents people are sending bad data on purpose (atleast thats what I think), or just unlucky that they are downloading/seeding the same torrent as you do. coldlm, your data is way too much, do you only get it with that certan torrent/show as I do perhaps? Then again there could be other things playing part on this too like your ISP or having bad memory units (or just a bad torrent in general with bad peers every time). Im researching this on my side still.

About the ip's; its too much in my eye too and im not sure for what reason. There might be good ones that are getting blocked also.

I've found a similiar report on libtorrent about this:
https://code.google.com/p/libtorrent/issues/detail?id=575
however, it's probably a good idea to add the reason of a peer being blocked in the alert.
Thats what Arvid said himself, libtorrent author, and I completely agree to see a reason for the peers getting blocked. Also a way to clear the blocklist (unblock everyone) would be nice.
Oh no the problem only happens when im using Qbit to download a torrent contain a whole series or something similar,
thats way im reporting it here, because i think its a bug or something!!! because i re-downloaded the same torrent on Vuze and the hash fails (wasted downloads) was like 20 mb but on Qbit the wasted downloads was 1.7GB!

Also im having another problems with Qbit [ftp=ftp://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php/topic,2505.0.html]http://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php/topic,2505.0.html[/ftp], it looks its using alot of my bandwidth (not to download torrents), the torrents im downloading only downloads KBs at the time,
only closing Qbit fixes it, im not sure but its like someone is getting my bandwidth through or Qbit is doing something on the background,

(you know when you are downloading a torrent with max speed on Qbit or any torrenter, you cant just go and use firefox or chrome to browse the internet because it will be so slow because you are using everything to download that torrent, but Qbit is not downloading at max speed  its only getting like 10KBs)

Does the speed issue only happen with qBittorrent or also with other clients? What are your settings like number of peers each torrent/global connections? XP or W7?

At first it started only with Qbit, now its with all other once Tixati and utorrent bittorrent....
But today im facing a new problem!!!

My internet speed is fine, i can browse the internet very fast and can download with IDM maximum speed, and i can watch youtube vids n problems at all, BUT Torrents cant go over 30KBs on evry torrent downloader,,,

For the settings i didnt change anything all default, and im running on both XP X32 machine and a win8 X64 (both have the same problem)

restarted the router, didnt help, i restored the router to default settings and it didnt help as well!

"Wasted Download" is NOT just "hash fails" so banning peers may leave your jobs with no peers at all.

Wasted is hash fails AND piece requests that have been acknowledged and served by more one peer so the blocks are surplus to requirements for that particular payload, so have to be discarded on arrival, so you can have "wasted" with zero hash fails especially if the job has a large number of available peers connected to your client.

That sounds more like your ISP doing some traffic shaping. Test a HTTP/FTP or speedtest download and then compare again. Having so many wasted bytes are not normal.. Here are my "best" and "worst" torrents right now: http://i.imgur.com/c6SO0x1.png

I too would appreciate more info in the ban/block-list BTW.

Otherwise qBT is just smooth sailing the bays

About the wasted data you should open a bug on libtorrent.
About the peer blocked reason it isn't available on libtorrent 0.16.x. I think arvid has added it to the unreleased 1.0.x version only.
