But torrentz already is in qbittorrent 3.2.0 beta

And? The 'plugins' do not have to be 'official' to be included, just considered 'useful' and hopefully working.

Exactly. That's why I proposed to include demonoid and remove torrentreactor from the list. It's far more popular, finds a lot of content the other one doesn't and helps avoiding duplicates. In tr many searches are fake too, but I've explained better my reasons on github.

By whom, and of course anyone can search any site they want, in any browser they happen to prefer or use tor browser it they want to be 'anonymous' and download the metadata file or load a magnet link. Having these 'plugins' is really not an absolute necessity and of course someone has to write them and maintain them by keeping them up to date with changes at the site they search.

Demonoid adds more secuirty too with its https support. Don't you think it's a good idea to include it?

Alright, alright. I will just close the thread.

Basically it's up to Sledgehammer, which plugin does he include.
  • Douman said:
But it will not be part of official engines, at least i do not wish it to be
  • The Demonoid plugin have been fixed after the latest 3.1.12 release
  • 3.2 is not even out yet.

So it is very much possible that the new fixed plugins will be part of the 3.2 release.
And if you want him to see something on Github, use the mention function.
Like this, in a comment on Github: @sledgehammer999

Not really, searching Demonoid is not something I ever bother with and even if I wanted to, it is blocked by my ISP, along with many other sites.

I know saw this. If someone makes a PR for Demonoid (or any other semi-popular torrent search engine) I'll probably merge it.
HINT: There is already a huge backlog of PRs. But after v3.2.0 release it should be reduced greatly.
