I too couldn't stand the new color scheme and stayed at 4.4.5 for a few months, but there is finally a solution. Found this custom theme a few days ago, and it does look exactly like the old design. I could finally update to the latest version.

I opened 4.5.4 today, excited to download a few fresh new Linux ISO's inside my dark Window theme paradise.

Long story short, ordering new braille books to adjust to my new life.



That said, I did find this theme updated for 4.5.4, using it. Could use some color tweaks (like less dark black and lighter reds), but it's better than the default.

Thanks. The color setting and icon setting menu is finally here in version 4.6.0. This way I can now set the best visibility.

I really appreciate the app and the effort you've put into making it for all of us. However, the light blue text color is quite uncomfortable for me, and I had to go back to an earlier version.

Lol it's just colors. And you can use color schemes. And a new theme/color editor is coming in the new version.
