qBittorrent official forums

Hello

Today I finally started the switch from Bittorrent to gBitTorrent.

I successfully downloaded and configured the qBitTorrent (I thought) and started moving torrents from Bittorrent to qBitTorrent. I successfully moved about 40 torrents over but then decided to check to make sure I could download torrents. Oops...

I tried a small torrent I know works but when I opened it with qBitTorrent I get the following message -- 'Error: No such file or directory'.

I have configured things the way I did in Bittorrent, so both the torrent files and the files themselves are in the same directory. I thought this was working because it dealt with already downloaded torrents I was loading, but obviously something I am missing is causing the error.

In Options/Downloads, I set the Default Save Path to the directory I use. I can't see any other setting which seems applicable, so I left everything else the way it was.

So I can load torrents for which I already have the files, but can't download anything. What is this newbie missing?
