Nice!
It constantly pops out of the window. I always pressed OK. Nothing changes. What to do with these?

QBittorrent wants to access the files in the Downloads folder
Re: QBittorrent wants to access the files in the Downloads folder

It does this once for EVERY active torrent. And it does this EVERY time you close and re-open the app. I went from 4.3.9 to 4.4.2 and that's when I first noticed it. Still happens in 4.4.3.
For me it's asking for acces to a removable volume because that's where I have my downloads going.
Is it really f^%$#ing necessary because it's absolutely bloody annoying as f%$#!

Hi, This is solution.
1. Open Terminal app in Utilities folder.
2. Type codesign -s - --deep /Applications/qbittorrent.app and return key.
3. Message will be gone!

Re: QBittorrent wants to access the files in the Downloads folder
I have the same issue -- Mac Mini, Monterey -
when I put in the Terminal Command, I get this:
Password for michaeljonas:
chsh: Credentials could not be verified, username or password is invalid. Credentials could not be verified, username or password is invalid.
Mac-mini-3:~ michaeljonas$ codesign -s - --deep /Applications/qbittorrent.app
/Applications/qbittorrent.app: resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus not allowed
Any suggestions will be more than welcomed.
