qBittorrent official forums

I DL a torrent from a good site to my downloads folder. . I click it to open qbittorrent and start it in qbitorrent, and I get the message. "torrent is already present ..... in the transfer list. trackers haven't been merged because it is a private torrent". It wont start downloading. What can I do? Other torrents from that site work without that message.

Thnx for your reply. I checked and the torrent data. meaning the actual video is not downloaded. the message seems to imply that the 15.2 kb thing (link) has been taken into the qbit client but is not functioning to attract seeders because the torrent is a private torrent. ( whatever that means)

yeah zoloft you were right. I did have it already downloaded
