qBittorrent official forums

I use a private indexer (amongst others) and they require DHT, PEX etc be turned off. This is causing me problems with adding Magnet links. Sonarr indicates 'the magnet links cannot be resolved'.

In the Sonarr forum, it was stated that 'any modern torrent client' would work fine with DHT etc. turned on as they would suspend tracking individually for any file with a private tracker associated.

So ... does qBittorrent indeed handle this properly, or do I need to leave DHT etc. off to protect my private indexer?

qBittorrent honors the "private flag" on torrents.
IF a torrent is marked private, DHT and the rest will be turned off.
