qBittorrent official forums

Hi all, using QBT for a while now , but got a question:
Is there a way to see wich network QBT is using, i'm using SurfShark and my download speed is the same with or without SurfShark VPN
When i used another torrent program it was very obvious that my VPN was on , the speeds dropped more than halve of the normal speed so i knew my VPN was working , now i don't think it's using my VPN
Any help is welcome

Hi,

In QBT you may select the interface (NIC) to use. I guess if the correct one is selected (tun0 for example) the traffic will only use it.
Restricting the local interface with a firewall to avoid the port configured for QBT may be an easy ways, and the link below will show you application per local IP (so the NIC)
