When clicking on a torrent link for a download, qBittorrent no longer opens. It immediately goes to a "Save As" window with my download folder suggestion. In default apps, .torrent files are already set to qbittorrent. It happens with any browser. How do I return to the protocol that I've used for years? ex. Click on a download link on 1337X, and qbittorrent immediately opens.

Try toggling this setting: Settings > Behavior > File associations > Use qBittorrent for .torrent files

If your browser asks you to choose a save path instead of automatically saving it to Downloads and letting you open it, this is something you should change in your browser.

You may also use Magnet links which should open qBittorrent without the need to download a .torrent file.
