Updating

A new version came up when I opened . I tried to update but it said qBittorrent must be closed. I went to task manager and ended program but it still says its open.

Anyone know why I can't update? I tried closing the program by task manager but it still says it's open.

Hi,
closing the program and wait a bit for any I/O completion should be sufficient. By using "exit" of QBT and waiting let's say 10 min you still see QBT in the task manager?
some possible clues:
- only one user session (not the QBT of another session?)
- you have more than one version of QBT running (almost the same as above)
- What about rebooting the computer (with QBT not configured to start automatically) and proceed the update with the last version manually downloaded?
