I feel like every time I open the app there's a new update.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a stable version and push update notifications less often unless it's an urgent security patch?

Sorry if it sounds like complaining, I appreciate the work you guys do.

The v4.5.2 was more an important security update, otherwise it takes a while for a new version to be released. See the News page for release intervals for example.
