My question...downloading with 1999 seeds....connected to 17.....only getting 500k speed. any idea why, and what can i do about it.
i have fibreoptic internet so normal speed is not a problem.

Even if you have a faster line than fiber you're still limited to others uploadspeed. So it doesn't mean you will automaticly max your line, thats not how the torrent system works. Also your system must keep up with the data that is coming in or being send. Your HDD (if using one) should be SSD instead to keep up with the write speed. So there are other things to consider to archive the best optimal speeds without bottlenecks. Im not always maxing my downloadspeed neither, using fiber up/down 1 Gbit/s.
