Constant end of file error

Post by DabanUrnud »

Every time I restart my client, if there is a torrent that has not completed I keep getting an end of file error in qbittorrent’s status column and an I/O error notification.

If I close and restart my client the error is still there. If I restart my PC, the error is still there. This happens when I shut down the PC cleanly or when I have to hard power down my PC because the client has caused it to freeze.

I have tried removing the torrent and re-adding it, removing the torrent and deleting the downloaded data, upgrading to the latest version of qbittorrent and reinstalling qbittorrent but nothing is resolving the problem.

Where are you downloading the file to? Is it a local storage/SSD?
What are you trying to download? If it's a game or program, your anti-virus might interfere with your download.
