Are we all having the same issue?
when QBT loads, it shows high speeds for a few, then disintegrates to 0.
I have tried all of the troubleshooting setting here, but of course, with the results the same as all of you.
I did uninstall QBT; install UTorr, but that was the same issue. Went back to QBT, no resolve.
Then by deduction, is it the NordVPN setting somewhere.
If you figure it out, please post.
Thanks
Mine is very similar. I use Avast VPN and was using BiglyBT, a couple of days ago I ran into problems with torrents not downloading. I thought it was a Bigly problem, so I did a clean install of it, nothing. I switched back to Vuze, no downloads still. After I downloaded QBT, still nothing. I also downloaded uTorrent, which is where it gets weird. When I first open uTorrent, my download will start off strong, then over the course of 30 seconds the download speed just keeps getting lower until it stops completely. I've tried looking at settings in Avast, all the downloaders, Windows Defender...nothing has solved my issue. I had no problems a month ago, but now I can't download a thing. I'm open to any ideas to fix this issue.
I had this exact same problem, my VPN worked everywhere I went online (Avast) including any country I wanted to connect to, so the same issue, torrent would load into the list but would not start till I TURNED OFF the VPN then TURNED IT ON again as soon as the torrent started running and it would complete just like they always do
Here's my solution and it worked the moment I did it with a Non Starting torrent.
I'm running 4.6.2
Goto: Options/BitTorrent/Encryption Mode (Set it to Disable Encryption)
That's it, I had an instant start of the torrent in the list.
Thanks for all the other suggestions everyone, it helped me eliminate a lot of things that didn't work.
